Jump Up For Kids Initial Assessments

All families joining Jump Up For Kids begin with a 1-hour Parent Consultation. This gives you time to share your concerns, goals, and your child’s history, and helps us understand how best to support your child.


After this meeting, the Occupational Therapist (OT) will recommend the most appropriate next step.

This may include:

  • An initial assessment - 90 minute session with your child and OT report to help guide therapy

  • An initial assessment - 90 minute session with your child and an NDIS Functional Capacity Report

  • A 60 minute "get to know you" session with your child - without a written report (if this is clinically appropriate and agreed upon.)


All decisions are made with the child’s needs, family goals, and clinical relevance in mind.
