CANCELLATION POLICY

We value your time, our time and the services we provide. When you make an appointment at Jump Up For Kids, that time is reserved exclusively for you and we schedule our resources and OT's time to that appointment. Whilst we understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for family or work, cancellations without notice cost our service financially and often prevent other service users from being seen. 

 

You can cancel or change your appointment without incurring any fees, as long as you give us at least two working days notice (48 hours). If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us on (07) 2113 4046.

 

The full consultation fee will be charged if the appointment is cancelled by the Client with less than 2 working days (48 hours) notice, regardless of the circumstances. 

In the event that a Client provides prior notice of a cancellation, the following may be offered in lieu of a consultation:

  • Parent/caregiver meeting

  • Telehealth appointment 

  • Prepare a session plan designed for parents to implement at home

  • Liaise and collaborate with educators, other health professionals etc regarding client’s care

  • Develop resources that support implementation of OT strategies

  • Prepare letters for paediatricians, NDIS review etc.

  • Other services relevant to the Client’s care and agreed upon by caregiver/parent and Jump Up For Kids.

  • Reschedule a make up session, prior to the next scheduled appointment.

 

If Clients do not attend an appointment and do not provide notice, full consultation fee will be charged without offering alternative options.

 

If the first appointment is cancelled by the Client, regardless of time of cancellation, the $50 booking deposit will be forfeited.
